Notes: This is a classic sporting course. Note that we will use the start in Astwood rather than near the Bike Bus.

Please note a protective helmet and front and rear lights are mandatory. Time trials are ridden on open roads, and riders must ride accordingly. Review this statement regarding safety and insurance.

Results
A warm but fairly blustery evening greeted the riders in this event on the Astwood Course. As usual I prepared the paperwork, but somewhere en route to Astwood, they fell out of his gilet pocket. This was soon sorted out as Dick had various blank signing on sheets, and we were able to press on!
Congratulations to Leigh Smith for the win this evening, with Rob Saunders and Lindz Barral rounding off the podium. Rob took the win on vet standard, with Leigh and Lindz rounding out the podium. First woman this evening on both actual and vet standard was Steph Cousins.
Despite the blustery conditions, I don't think things were too difficult - maybe a little twitchy in a couple of places on the A422 to Chicheley. After the race, some of us popped into the newly re-opened Old Swan in Astwood for a beer before we all made our way home.
As usual, thanks to Dick Selley for signage and timekeeping, to Rob for the IT stuff. We have another photo gallery from Jim Eastman - the photographs can be viewed here. Dick, in his role as litter-picker-in-chief exhorted me to pick up the paperwork on the way home, but I didn't see a sign of it!
