Notes: A fast course with several roundabouts. There are traffic lights on the course – if they are at red, you must stop. The start is at the top of Brogborough hill.

A protective helmet and front and rear lights are mandatory.

Results

We had a pretty nice evening for this event, sunny and warm with a 9mph headwind out to the turn. Despite the tailwind on the return leg, it felt a little tougher than the outward leg to me! We had two DNS this evening, the most interesting was James, who was collecting a bee swarm and as a consequence couldn't make it. That possibly counts as the best DNS (Apol) I've ever received.

We had a narrow escape from roadworks - when Dick was collecting the signs after we'd completed the event, workmen were just putting up traffic control lights on the course.

Thanks to Dick for the signage and to Dick and John for the timekeeping.
