North Bucks Road Club

As previously announced on this website, the 2010 Brickhills Challenge, which was cancelled due to heavy snowfall, has been rescheduled for the 10th of October.  Jeff Hathaway has forwarded the following information:

• This event is now on the 10th October 2010.
• You can enter online at Race Timing Systems £6.00
• Entries on the day will be £10.00
• Route is 52 miles, nearly 4000 ft climbing.
• Route is signed and Timed.
• Start time from Harley Hall is 09.00

The 8th and final round of the NBRC time trial league is held on the Astwood circuit this week. Full course description and risk assessment.

See the course description for the location of the meeting point.  Event starts 8am.  Entry fees for all club events are £1.50 (members), £2.00 (non-members).

Now that the nights have drawn in, club events have moved to morning slots.  This  club event is to be held on the F5d/10, based on the new Stoke Hammond bypass.  Meet at the clubroom, and remember to allow sufficient time to get to the start.  Please review the course description and risk assessment.

You are advised to take particular care at the start and finish, due to the proximity to the Brickhill roundabout.  Please make sure you read the risk assessment before riding this course.  Riders must not stop& circulate around the Finish - it could be potentially lethal.

This event starts at 8.00am, and as usual, entry is £1.50 (members) or £2 (non-members).
