Results

The weather was a bit cooler of late, but once again rather windy and blustery - which seems to have been a regular feature of our 2026 series of events! I don't think any of the riders got rained on during the event itself, but those of us who rode out to the event (and back) probably got a bit wet either side of the race. Despite these conditions, all seven entrants turned up and rode - many thanks to all.

Tonight's winner (by a good margin) was Simon Cannings, who seemed to be impervious to the wind! Simon also took the win on veteran standard, so double congratulations to him!

I guess the rest of the riders found the conditions challenging to a variable degree - some said it didn't bother them too much while others found their bike a real handful in the wind.

Thanks to Dick Selley for timekeeping and Robert and Ian for IT and admin stuff.
