Results

Another Wednesday, another club time trial, another very windy evening! This was our first visit to Astwood this season, and once again the six riders were lining up in windy and blustery conditions. The wind made the opening section down to Chicheley really quite quick. What was perhaps more concerning was how difficult the rest of the circuit might me. It actually wasn't quite as bad as some of us expected, with only a few sections too difficult to hold an aero position.

Simon Cannings took the win with a good margin over second placed Rob Saunders, with Isaac Barral in third place. Simon and Rob were first and second in the Veteran results, with Lindz Barral in third place.

Once again many thanks to Dick Selley (signs and timekeeping) and Ian Stokes. Some of us popped into The Old Swan afterwards for a quick drink (very quick in my case due to falling light).
