This week's club time trial uses the newly designed "Hardriders" course, and promises to be good fun. As ever, be considerate with parking, as there's little space in Bow Brickhill, and this event is on a Sunday morning, when normal people like a lie-in instead of bashing round the countryside in a time trial bike!

As usual, entry fees are £1.50 for members, £2.00 for non-members

A fine win on this new course for Lindz Barrel who just failed to beat the hour by 33 seconds on the hilly 22 mile course. The weather was cold, about three degrees at the start, but almost completely windless. One or two riders were hampered by temporary traffic lights in Woburn High Street which appeared part the way through the event and disappeared before the finish. After recovering their breathe at the top of Bow Brickhill the riders generally agreed that this was a good course and fun to ride. The Evans Sportive event starting just down the road did not cause any conflicts. Next year we will adjust the date to avoid a clash with the Icknield Hilly to bring a few more riders along.
