2024 Club Time Trials

calendar color iconNorth Bucks Road club organises a full season of club time trials. Click the icon for the calendar.

For 2024 we will continue to use local company ResultsBase to handle event entries. You will need to register with ResultsBase before entering our events. Entries cost £5.50 and entry remains open right up to the start of the the time trial. Please note we don't take entries on the line.

Make sure the email address associated with your ResultsBase account is current - in the event of a course change or cancellation, this is how we will contact you.

We make announcements of each event on this website and at the NBRC Facebook Group.

What you need

You do not need a dedicated time trial bike to ride time trials: any bike or trike, tandem or solo will be fine. You must be wearing an approved helmet, and have front and rear lights fitted to your machine.

If you have any questions about time trialling and how this aspect of cycle sport works, don't hesitate to contact us.

After each evening event we generally visit a pub near the start-finish area of the event for a spot of social activity (often deconstructing how each of us did in the time trial!).

Events for beginners

For 2024, we are once again arranging three early season road bike only events on the Beachampton 5 mile course (you can choose to ride one or two laps). This course is mostly on quiet lanes and is ideal for beginners. Any questions? Email us for more information!

We hope to organise a club run of moderate distance after each of the Beachampton events.

The remainder of our events are around 10 miles - the course descriptions include links to GPS maps and risk assessments.
