Club Events

This club event will be held in the usual evening time slot, and will be on the Stoke Hammond course (that link has the course description and risk assessment as well as the meeting point). We kick off at 7pm, members £2.50, non-members £3.00. 

Be aware that there have been major changes to the Kelley's Kitchen roundabout, which has several sets of traffic lights. This means that traffic flow in the vicinity of this course has been altered - please take care when negotiating all roundabouts on the course, and look out for queuing traffic near the finish.

If you're riding home from the event, think about bringing lights!

Results

A sunny spring-like day continued into the evening for this event, though temperatures seemed to be distinctly falling! Anthony Batt took the honours this evening with a fine ride, chased home by Tony Parks (with Geoff Perry hot on his heels). I didn't have too much hassle from motor traffic, though I did get held slightly by a Jag at the first roundabout and buzzed by a bus on the DC - Richard Golding suffered the same, suggesting to us it was deliberate. I didn't have trouble stopping before any traffic at the lights, so not bad.
