This week's evening '10' will be on the Stony Stratford course (approx 11.4 miles in the version we use). View the course description for details of the course, the meeting point and the risk assessment. The event starts at 7pm, but be there in time to sign on. Entry is £2.50 (members), £3.00 (non-members). Remember to bring lights if you're cycling home after the event.
Results
By the time riders were signing on for the race, the weather had deteriorated pretty markedly with some pretty horrid rain, and I for one was shivering badly before I started. As ever, one did warm up a bit under the effort of racing, though I did take the corners quite carefully. Thanks to Tony and Bryan for standing out there in the cold and wet, and commiserations to Mark for puncturing in the last 5km or so - I saw him finish with an awesome rumble of carbon fibre from his flatted disk wheel. But well done to Steve with a clear win over the rest of us.
