We're back on the Stoke Hammond course for this Saturday morning event. Have a look at the course description for a full risk assessment, and do take care in the vicinity of the meeting point and start area - since the new McDonalds was built, there's more traffic! Start is 9.00am and the entry fee is £2.50 (members) £3.00 (non-members).
Results
Quite a cool morning, which came as something of a shock after the recent spell of nice warm weather. More to the point, there was quite a tough headwind on the outward leg, which made front wheels with deep rims a little twitchy. In contrast, the return leg was nice and quick. A narrow victory for Simon Cannings over his team mate Stefan Richardson (who took first on vets standard) left Simon claiming to regret a brief spell of coasting! First of the two NBRC riders home was Rob Saunders.
